Credit Crunch - Brian's wallet

Credit Crunch tries to reveal what has previously been hidden. People talk about their purses or wallets. In doing this, some of the words they use in describing their purse or wallet will equally well describe themselves.

As Godard noted, ‘Even a film about a fish is about me’.

The wallets and hands reveal unconscious turning, handling and touching, giving the viewer extra insight into what the person speaking might be thinking of, as well as what they are saying.

In an exercise derived from Gestalt therapy you describe an object, while holding it, from the first person singular. “I” am the wallet. “I” am leather/ red/ impossible to use etc. This also becomes a description of you, and me.
